Russia investigates adopted boy's death in U.S
Recently, Russia is currently investigating the death of a three year old adopted child in America. The child, Maxim Shatto was was last seen in Texas before being beaten to death in his home. Although his little brother is still alive, the Russians just passed a new law banning adoptions of Russian children by Americans. Even though Russia has opened ten investigations for the crime, U.S. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said it was local law enforcement's responsibility to investigate the boy's death. She also said that the State Department had been working with the Russian consulate in Houston and the embassy in Washington to put Russian officials in touch with authorities in Texas. Most Russian government officials states that they don't trust the Americans due to them not given information to the investigators. A few days after the law was passed, children that were adopted from Americans are currently being force to return to Russia. A local student said that " I think that it is sad how a kid from a different country got beaten harshly when he got adopted."
